Supported Charities

• Adopt-A-Family: Each year during the Christmas season, members of the Brea Police Association “adopt a family” that is in need. Money is raised to give to that family to ensure their kids receive gifts for Christmas.

• Tip-A-Cop: Each year members of the Brea Police Association participate in the “tip-a-cop” program benefitting the Special Olympics. Officers assist waiters and/or waitresses serving food and the tips that are received go to the Special Olympics.

• Brea’s 4th of July Country Fair: Each year members of the Brea Police Association have a booth set up at the 4th of July Country Fair. While there we pass out safety literature and give school supplies to the kids.

• National Night Out: Each year members of the Brea Police Association participate in the National Night Out. While the framilies and kids have the opportunity to look at police cars, motorcycles, and SWAT equipment.

• Special Olympics Torch Run: Each year members of the Brea Police Association participate in the Special Olympics Torch Run. This run celebrates the Special Olympics.

• Relay for Life: Community fund-raising walk to raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer.
